DUTIES:

Position is located at South El Monte, California. Responsible Project Level FEMIMAXIMO Application Specialist 1. Utilizes a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), such as FEMIMAXIMO, to provide system control, oversight, repair history, analysis, data entry, and documentation of current and future maintenance operations for the ongoing maintenance management program for the hydroelectric powerhouse, navigation locks, appurtenant facilities and features, natural resource management equipment, mobile operating equipment, electrical and mechanical operating equipment and machinery of the Project. Exercises own initiative in developing or updating equipment profiles, history, maintenance schedule, and related maintenance procedures and requirements for separate pieces of equipment and/or facility features from the time of purchase until retired or replaced. System elements and resources include operation and maintenance manuals, catalog data, parts lists, modifications to design prints, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repair records, replacement parts, and comparison labor and cost data. Integrated equipment records include major items of repair, recurring problems, backlog, actual hours accomplished, labor costs, and cost of itemized material and other details associated with work performed . Organizes, complies all pertinent in affiliation, assures accuracy, and enters data and updates for each piece of equipment into the maintenance system. Exercises a practical knowledge of a wide range of equipment and machinery to identify equipment or maintenance actions. Reviews printouts to check, verify, and correct data. Answers inquiries about work order status, equipment maintenance history, trouble reports, and other preventive maintenance questions. Compiles, prepares and generates various reports, records, statistics, listings, charts and graphs, or other preventive/predictive (PM) related information as requested. Prepares periodic O&M program reports for Chief of Maintenance; or the Operations Manager and/or their staff. Monitors FEMIMAXIMO for new personal property records. Completes record data as necessary and inserts record into proper place in the equipment hierarchy. Gathers and files O&M manuals, drawings, and documentation for new equipment, and uses manufacturer guidelines to create a PM record and associated job plan for all project equipment requiring maintenance. Schedules PM records based on knowledge of project and crew requirements and workload, as well as factors pertaining to the type of maintenance to be done on the equipment. Monitors and clears errors pertaining to the FEMIMAXIMO/CEFMS purchase interface to ensure that purchase process and documentation data flows smoothly. Coordinates with and complements the duties and responsibilities of material handler and/or supply technician to assure proper level/availability of repair components, parts and other material and supplies are available for O&M activities. Serves as Project POC for FEM/MAXIMO equipment transfers. Coordinates with either transferring or receiving project to ensure equipment record is visible to new owner and all equipment history, O&M manuals, and other documentation transfers properly. Renumbers newly acquired equipment and places in proper project equipment hierarchy 20% 2. Utilizes the CMMS to issue and schedule routine and cyclic maintenance, repair and replacement of all equipment, machinery, etc. Specifics of all critical information regarding maintenance on the piece of equipment are documented in the maintenance system, and attached to the Preventive Maintenance (PM) work order. Responsible for completeness of data on each work order. Collects information and requirements of O&M crews, and issues PM work orders for use by the maintenance crews. Scheduled starting and completion dates for each activity are based on scope, technical requirements, other needs, and trade skills availability.
