DUTIES:

Serves as staff officer to the Systems Acquisitions and Fielding Branch Chief, Office of the Program Manager (OPM), Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) Modernization Program. Works as directed on all aspects of foreign military sales including initial customer requests, DoD approval for equipment and transfer of funds, final delivery of equipment and execution of approved training. Coordinates with SANG senior military representatives to assist in development of CONUS and European itineraries for customer procurement delegations. Coordinates with MACOMs and other USG agencies to ensure equipment availability, refine requirements, and plan SANG procurements. Develops periodic meetings and conferences among elements and provides briefings and information on Future Force initiatives and issues. Establishes and maintains liaison with SANG to provide insights to the Army,s Expeditionary Force efforts and support to SANG,s Modernization Program. Directs and participates in the development, and staffing of Letters of Offer and Acceptance.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Male soldier only, Grade of 04/MAJ required, Functional Area (51Z) required, Previous acquisition experience required, Functional Area 51A (Systems Development) and/or 51R (Systems Automation Acquisition and Engineering) desirable, Must be within AR 600-9 Weight Standards, Must be able to pass APFT, Must currently meet Medical Fitness Standards of AR 40-501 as reflected in MEDPROS, Must have current OER on file at HRC, Command Staff College (CSC) graduate required
