DUTIES:

Conducts Position Sensitivity Reviews on an annual basis, tracks vacant positions in order to upgrade position sensitivity level and clearance. Updates NACI investigations 15 years old/older or those having no records showing in JPAS, submits SF 85 and fingerprints to OPM, tracks status of the investigations, make corrections to the SF 85 when necessary, reviews Position Sensitivity roster. Maintain PSM net in JPAS (add new employees, delete exiting employees). Assist the Security Manager with the Information Security Program. Annually reviews and updates as required, the district's Administrative Procedures for handling classified information. Prepares and conducts initial and periodic security briefings for employees with security clearances to ensure proper handling and safeguarding of classified information and ensures signs a SF-312, Non-Disclosure Agreement. Ensures all personnel have the proper security clearance and need-to-know prior to classified meetings, exercises, etc. Conducts inspections of the district's classified files for regulatory compliance, and makes recommendations on documents to be destroyed, etc. Provides a debriefing to employees when access to classified information is no longer required. Serves as a member on the Crisis Action Team (CAT). Serves as the office training coordinator. Assists the District Security Manager, in conducting required security training to include, Anti-Terrorism (AT), Subversion and Espionage Directed Against the Army (SEADA) and Operations Security (OPSEC) as required. Ensures employees traveling outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) receive an up-to-date AT briefing prior to traveling OCONUS.



QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledgeable and skilled in JPAS (Joint Personnel Adjudication System), Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) Soldier in the MOS of 96B would be preferable. Briefing skills are also a plus. Computer skills to include, Microsoft, Outlook-e-mail, Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
