    Position is eligible for telework and AWS - OJP offers various alternative work schedules and telework, which varies from office to office.     This position is located in the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP). The OJP is accessible by public transportation including Metro, MARC and VRE commuter trains and is located at the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station (accessible on the Green, Yellow and Red lines).     The Office of Justice Programs (OJP) has partnered with the Vida Fitness Center, which is conveniently located in the Verizon Center for your physical fitness needs. In addition, the Department of Justice (DOJ) offers on-site fitness centers at various DOJ locations within the downtown area, most of which are located within walking distance.     Service Credit for Non-Federal Experience ¿ The Federal Workforce Flexibility Act allows newly hired employees to be granted credit for previous military or private sector experience directly related to the position for which hired. This non-Federal experience can be counted as service time for annual leave accrual purposes upon appointment.     Employee Assistance Program is a counseling, education and referral service that helps employees manage personal and professional responsibilities (e.g., adoption, adult care, legal services).

Duties:

  • Assesses the effectiveness of performance management programs or operations through review and analysis of program outcomes with respect to established program goals.
  • Provides advice and guidance on award and recognition program procedures and requirements.
  • Performs performance management program administration studies, reviews, and evaluations to ensure regulatory compliance, and maintenance of program requirements for a serviced organization.
  • Advises management on legal or regulatory requirements or entitlements related to employee relations matters. Provides advisory services to managers and employees on employee relations policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Advises management on legal or regulatory requirements or entitlements related to performance management matters. Provides advisory services to managers and employees on performance management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
